Webinar: Monitoring Host Immune Responses: Critical Factors for Accuracy, Reproducibility and Throughput

Now Available On Demand
Monitoring immune responses accurately is critical

The development of viral based vaccines and other therapies for pathologies such as cancer and neurodegeneration require an accurate assessment of host immunity. Immunological assays play an important role in elucidating the pathogenesis of disease. This involves understanding the cellular or tumor micro-environment and various intracellular signaling and apoptotic networks as well as a systemic assessment of cytokines, chemokines and other soluble biomarkers. Generating highly accurate and reproducible data in a timely manner is also critical to properly evaluating the efficacy of therapy in both discovery work and clinical trials. Matrix effects, which can cause false positives and negatives in data, can wreak havoc on data interpretation which then leads to wrong conclusions and a misunderstanding of disease mechanisms in model systems. This webinar explores critical assay components and procedures that go into developing robust immunoassays and explores multiplexing assays to increase data throughput while maintaining good accuracy and reproducibility.
