The legacy iCE3 system has provided fast, high resolution charge variant analysis and has been utilized for the QC release of hundreds of commercial products since its launch in 2013. Following its discontinuation on December 31, 2021, iCE3 users have been successfully transitioning to the Maurice and MauriceFlex platforms.

In this webinar, our featured speaker Leonard Bell (Labcorp) will present a talk “Analytical Method Transfer from iCE3 to Maurice Systems: Experiences from a CRO QC Lab.” He will describe his team’s experience in transferring established iCE3 methods to the Maurice platform and how the ease of this transfer can be sample and method dependent.

Dr. Bell will discuss some of the key challenges they observed when transferring their clients’ icIEF methods between these instrumentation platforms and their solutions to make these transfers a success. He’ll highlight how platform changes of this type can be an opportunity to adopt a more Analytical Method Lifecycle approach to icIEF QC analysis. He will describe the advantages his team observed with the adoption of Maurice as their new QC iCE platform, including other electrophoretic analytical capabilities and operation under 3rd party Chromeleon CDS control in their lab.

Following his presentation, Dr. Monica Tyagi (Bio-Techne) will share technical tips and key resources for making the transition. She will also highlight how the Maurice and MauriceFlex Platforms can expand the capabilities and increase the productivity of your lab.

Once the talks have concluded, the speakers will be joined by two experts during the live Q&A panel discussion: Seth Madren (Biogen) and Chris Cammarata (Johnson & Johnson).
