Coronavirus research is picking up pace across the world but due to social distancing measures tools that provide accurate results in minimum hand on time are the need of the hour. Bio-Techne has developed many tools to help researchers study and fight the virus that will be coverd today. This symposium is divided into four talks, beginning with a discussion on COVID-19 related proteins in the first session followed by antibodies, analytical tools for serology and small molecules and ISH assay.

Annegret Boge is Western Business Unit leader in the BioTechne-Analytical Solutions Division in San Jose, CA. Annegret is responsible for the Single-Cell Western, Simple Western and Imaging product lines. Annegret obtained her MSc in Chemistry at the WWU, Muenster and her PhD in Analytical Biochemistry from the Technical University of Munich (TUM), Germany. She completed her PostDoc at Stanford. In 2008 Annegret joined ProteinSimple, a Bio-Techne brand, in the R&D team developing reagents, methods and technologies for protein analysis.

Suruchi Arora is the Product manager for Bio-Techne brands such as Protein Simple, R&D systems, Novus and Tocris in South-East Asia and Australia/New Zealand. Suruchi obtained her PhD and did her post-doctoral study at National University of Singapore. Suruchi joined Bio-Techne as a Field Application Scientist for APAC in 2016.
